1.凝結(jié)硬化時體積微膨脹

石膏漿體在凝結(jié)硬化初期會產(chǎn)生微膨脹。這一性質(zhì)石膏制品的表面光滑、細膩、尺寸精確,形體飽滿、裝飾性好。
Gypsum slurry will experience slight expansion during the initial stage of solidification and hardening. The surface of gypsum products with this property is smooth, delicate, with precise dimensions, full form, and good decorative properties.

由于石膏制品內(nèi)部大量毛細孔院對空氣中的水蒸氣具有較強的吸附能力,所以對室內(nèi)的空氣濕度有一定的調(diào)節(jié)作用。

3.耐水性、抗凍性差

建筑石膏粉硬化體的吸濕性強,吸收的水分會減弱石膏晶粒間的結(jié)合力,使強度顯著降低;若長期漫水,還會因二水石膏晶體逐漸溶解而導致破壞。石膏粉制品吸水飽和后受凍,會因孔隙中水分結(jié)晶膨脹而破壞。所以,石膏粉制品的耐水性和抗凍性較差,不宜用于潮濕部位。為提高其耐水性,可加入適量的水泥、礦渣等水硬性材料,也可加入有機防水刻等,可改善石膏粉制品的孔,隙狀態(tài)或使孔,壁具有增水性。

4.凝結(jié)硬化快

建筑石膏粉在加水拌合后,漿體在幾分鐘內(nèi)便開始失去可塑性,30min內(nèi)完全失去可塑性而產(chǎn)生強度,大約一星期左右完全硬化。為滿足施工要求,需要加入緩凝劑,如硼砂、酒石酸鉀鈉、檸檬酸、聚乙烯醇、石灰活化骨膠或皮膠等。

石膏制品在遇火災時,二水石膏將脫出結(jié)晶水,吸熱蒸發(fā),并在制品表面形成蒸汽幕和脫水物隔熱層,可有效減少火焰對內(nèi)部結(jié)構(gòu)的危害。建策石膏制品在防火的同時自身也會遭到損壞,而且石膏制品也不宜長期用于靠近65°C以上高溫的部位,以免二水石膏在此溫度下失去結(jié)晶水,從而失去強度。

建筑石膏在拌合時,為使?jié){體具有施工要求的可塑性,需加入石膏用量60%~的用水量,而建筑石膏水化的理論需水量為18.6%,所以大量的自由水在蒸發(fā)時,在建筑石膏制品內(nèi)部形成大量的毛細孔隙。導熱系數(shù)小,吸聲性較好屬于輕質(zhì)保溫材料。
